After the successful art collaborate show in Hong Kong, Chairman Ting Industries of the Forces of Nice continued their tour to Shanghai. As the honorable official media coverage, we followed them to Shanghai too.
Without the other 2 members of the Forces of Nice, Chairman Ting didn’t lose any creativeness. In fact, they designed an amazing window display and a few posters for the Shanghai adidas originals store in a short period of time. Check out the art pieces in photos below and you’ll see how fun and creative they are. Other art pieces that were shown in HK will be shipped to Shanghai for display and the show in SH adidas originals store will be held until the end of November.
Thanks to the nice weather, we were able to take some great shots of the setup and the window display of the store. Please enjoy the photos and once again, thanks Chairman Ting Industries & SH adidas originals for inviting us to Shanghai , it was a great trip and we love Shanghai!
We followed the Forces of Nice to Hong Kong to photograph and document their art collaboration project with adidas HK on September 29, 2010. Chairman Ting Industries, Tom Pettapiece (aka Straight leg) and Tangible Interaction formed the Forces of Nice and they decided to have their debut art show hosted in the adidas concept store in Hong Kong.
The show featured art illustrations, photography of Chairman Ting Industries, live digital music performance of Tom Pettapiece and interactive demonstration of digital graffiti wall from Tangible Interaction.
The show was a great success and had attracted many local celebrities and media, we are proud to be the official media to cover this event and congratulations to the Forces of Nice for the good show!
OslerZoo has been invited to Hong Kong to photograph & document the Forces of Nice’s first oversea art show. This collaboration project with adidas was held in the adidas Originals Flagship Store in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Carson of Chairman Ting Industries is a key member of the Forces of Nice, he assembled and custom painted a super sweet fixie bike just for the show. It was designed in his Vancouver base and was shipped to HK for display. Before hanging it up on the display window in front of an animated city street background, Carson decided to take the bike for a spin.
We will post more pictures of this event soon, so stay tuned.
PF Flyers presents Art and Sole 2010, a Collaborative Art Shoe Project supported by Red Bull and El Kartel, featuring 40 artists all over Canada. The exhibition took place in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Toronto and a portion of the proceed from the silent auction goes to charity. Carson’s piece is for sure our favorite one of the entire exhibition. Please check out the video of his Feet Mayhem.
We did a photo shoot of Jared Nickerson for UK Computer Arts Magazine a while ago. Jared of J3Concepts is an amazing and talented illustrator based in Seattle, and he’s also the art director of LaFraise. Thanks so much Jared for being so creative and open to any ideas on the day of the photo shoot. It was definitely one of our best and funniest photo shoot experience so far. We look forward to shooting Jared again in the future. : )
The video is on Raw Canvas!
Thanks Tom Pettapiece again for editing and composing the music for the video.
and Congratulations to Carson and Mike again for this successful art show!
Here’s some shots of Jason while he was working for a show at the Vogue Theater.
We did a fun photo shot for a live collaboration art show for two creative illustrators, Carson Ting of Chairman Ting and Mike Nowland of Company Policy on Saturday, April 24th, 2010. They collaborated on a mural wall at Raw Canvas, Yaletown Vancouver . Live music was also performed by Tom Pettapiece, a talented artist who has recently composed cool music for a little art project by Carson Ting. Check out this fun art work here.
